Q. How does the online shop work?
A. Browse the online catalogue at your leisure. When you find an item you would like to purchase, simply choose the size and/or colour, if applicable, and click the Add to Basket button on the right. This adds that item to your personal basket. You can either purchase the item now, or click "continue shopping". When shopping, the items and total of your basket is always shown at the top right of the screen.
When you want to purchase the items in your shopping basket, click "View My Basket" button (top right). This lists all the items currently in your basket. Should you wish to remove any items, click "remove" which will be written next to that product.
Now proceed to the checkout. Here you fill in a few details such as name and delivery address etc. Once this page is completed you can choose to either pay by Cheque or Credit Card.
Q. How do I pay by credit card?
A. At the end of the Checkout Screen, choose "pay by Credit Card". This page secure, look for the padlock symbol in the address bar or at the bottom of the browser. This means you have a secure connection between your computer and our secure server so no-one can eavesdrop or intercept your details. Enter the information and click Submit. Your order has now been placed and you will shortly be receiving an email confirmation. You will receive another email when the item is dispatched.
Q. How do I pay by cheque?
A. At the end of the Checkout Screen, choose "pay by Cheque". This places your order and you will shortly be receiving an email confirmation. Please make the payable to Spinnaker Yacht Chandlery. Please note the order will not be dispatched until after your cheque has cleared so please bear this in mind when ordering. One it does, we'll dispatch your order and send you an email to let you know.
Q. What happens if there is a problem with my order?
A. We will notify you as soon as is possible should we have a problem or be unable to fulfill a part of your order. For this very reason, we must have a way of contacting you, and we ask that you ensure you have given us both your correct e-mail address and telephone number.
Q. What happens with all my details?
A, Apart from filing them in our records, absolutely nothing. You can rest assured that we will not disclose any details to any third party.
